President directs CM Bugti to work for further peace in Balochistan

QUETTA: President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday directed Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti to further improve peace and security in Balochistan, besides taking measures to uplift people’s living standards there.

The president, in a meeting with Balochistan chief minister, who called on him at Bilawal House in Karachi, also called for ensuring public welfare, basic facilities for people, and the timely completion of development projects.

In the meeting, they discussed the development projects in Balochistan and the overall political situation.

The chief minister briefed the president on the law and order situation in the province and development projects.
