KABUL: Afghan President, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Tuesday arrived in New Delhi, to meet with the Indian leadership including Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi to discuss bilateral relation and further strengthening the cooperation among the two countries.
The president house of Afghanistan ARG Palace issued a press release that President Ghani was received at the airport by the Indian and Afghan officials in New Delhi. It added that President Ghani will meet with his Indian counterpart President Ram Nath Kovind and will also have a separate meeting with the PM Narendra Modi as well as Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj.
The US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is also expected to visit New Delhi to meet with the Indian officials and he visited the Kabul City on Monday and met with the President Ghani and other officials.
