President Ghani off to Davos

KABUL: President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday left Kabul for Davos to attend the World Economic Forum, his office said.

A statement from the Presidential Palace said Ghani, heading a high-level delegation, would address the World Economic Forum on its 3rd day. It added the president would also attend a debate on the country’s economic growth and the Afghanistan’s role in regional connectivity. Ghani will also attend a banquet to be hosted by the World Economic Forum’s chief along with other international leaders. (Pajhwok)
