KABUL (Agencies): President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, in a meeting with the Iranian special envoy for Afghanistan, Mohammad Ibrahim Taherian, discussed issues of mutual interests, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.
Both sides spoke about expansion of bilateral relation, fighting terrorism and extremism and drugs, said the statement. In the meeting both sides exchanged views and emphasized on economic and regional cooperation and that a delegation was set to be sent that country for further discussion with the related officials, the statement said.
