PESHAWAR: Principal Secretary to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa appeared before Peshawar High Court in case regarding removal and force retirements of Vice Chancellors of Gomal and Swabi varsities respectively, on Thursday.
The two-member bench of PHC comprising of Justice Rooh-ul-Amin and Justice Attique Shah heard the petition and extended interim relief because suspension orders of VC Gomal University was suspended by court on last hearing.
During hearing Justice Rooh-ul-Amin inquired from Principal Secretary that are you informed Governor on court orders?
Principal Secretary informed that he had informed Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the matter.
The two member bench of PHC directed Principal Secretary to Governor to submit in writing that you had informed Governor on court orders.
On the previous hearing PHC had suspended notification regarding removal of VC Gomal University Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed and today it is extended.
The two-member bench of PHC Justice Rooh-ul-Amin and Justice Attique Shah adjourned further hearing till17 June.
