KHAR: Lieutenant Colonel Siyab has said education is very important for the development of any nation and no nation can travel on the road of development without providing education to their youth.
This he said while addressing to the annual prize distribution ceremony at Government Degree College Barkhalozo on Thursday. He stressed on the students to work hard and convert their attentions towards the studies and play their positive in the country development as it is the only responsibility on their behalf.
College Principal Kifayatullah said to the ceremony that the college is providing education to the youth of the Inayat Kalay and Mamond tehsils. The lack of staff and class rooms were the main hurdle in continuing the education facilities in the college, he added.
He added that the college is providing education to 800 students of the area despite that they we have only capacity of 280 students and demanded from the government to provide maximum facilities to the college in the better interest of the students.
On the occasion Azmat Khan of Nawagai also spoke on the occasion, Malik Muhammad Ayaz, Malik Rauf Khan, Malik Shatir, Malik Shaheen, Malik Shah Wali Khan and other prominent elders of the area were present in the prize distribution ceremony. In the end the chief guest distributed prizes among the position holder students.
