KABUL (TOLONews): Khairullah Khairkhwa, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, stated at the Gul Senjed Poetry program in Logar that propaganda efforts aimed at creating a distance between the people and the Islamic Emirate are ineffective.
Khairkhwa said that the purpose of organizing such literary programs is to encourage poets and strengthen national unity.
Khairullah Khairkhwa said: “There is false and negative propaganda on social media. Judges, commanders, representatives, and mullahs are involved and interfere in everything. These are the devils. We must respect our nation, observe these programs, and find peace in our hearts.”
Several participants of the poetry program requested that such programs be organized in the remote areas of the province.
Sayedullah Zaheen, a participant, said: “I have come to the Gul Senjed Poetry program for the first time, and the entire program was good because poets recited their poems in each segment. More attention should be paid to poetry programs, and they should be expanded to districts and remote areas. There, poets will rise and share their poems with each other, creating an atmosphere of love and brotherhood.”
Sabaon, another participant, said: “The poetry program was good and should be organized more for the youth because it encourages them to learn from others.”
These participants consider the organization of such literary programs in remote areas essential for discovering hidden talents and capacities.
This poetry program is held annually in Logar province, attracting poets and cultural enthusiasts from various provinces.
