Prosecution dissatisfied over police investigation into Mustafa Amir’s murder

KARACHI: The prosecution expressed dissatisfaction over the police investigation into Mustafa Amir murder case.

According to sources, the prosecution department sought a progress report from the investigating officer handling the case.

The department specifically requested an update on the four cases registered against the accused, Armaghan, asking for details on the progress made so far. It has also demanded information on the investigation conducted with the suspects.

Furthermore, sources indicated that the investigation team had been asked to clarify how many witness statements were recorded, whether forensic analysis of DNA and fingerprints had been initiated and whether CCTV footage and financial records hade been examined as part of the investigation.
