PESHAWAR: Parliamentary leader of ANP Sardar Hussain Babak has said that education is a provincial subject and the provinces are allowed to introduce reforms or made changes in the education syllabus that best suited the educational institutes.
In a statement here he said that the power to amend and alter the education syllabus rest with the provincial education department. The provincial assemblies are present and can amend and enact legislation in any sector, the government wanted to do so. The ANP leader maintained that devolution of power to the federating units by the federation has addressed the sense of deprivation of the people. People of various nationalities lived in the country which, have different traditions, culture and customs therefore, imposing decisions by force was not advisable.
