MUZAFFARABAD: The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja FarooqHaider Khan Monday directed all the district administrations and tourism department to ensure provision of all basic facilities for the tourists during this tourism season.
Addressing a high level meeting held, he directed all concerned heads of the departments to provide timely information to tourists at every entry points and treat them as guest, warning strict action in case of any complaint of misbehavior. He also directed police and Commissioners of all three divisions of AJK to welcome the visiting tourists in Azad Kashmir and monitor themselves the facilities and other vital measures in this regard.
He further asked them to remain in contact with other district administrative officials to monitor the administrative facilities to the tourists in order to promote tourism in the territory as it was the foremost priority of the government for generation of employment in the private sector. The PM asked the administration to devise comprehensive networking and information system to meet the complaints of tourists well in time and show a good behavior to them. The Premier directed the divisional commissioners to extend high standard facilities to the tourists and take environment friendly measures at every tourist spot.
