PESHAWAR: While condemning the much controversial decision of President of United States Donald Trump for announcing Jerusalem as capital of Israel, the members of Pakhtun Students Federation (PSF) asked Muslim countries to cut off diplomatic relations with America.
In this regard, a protest demonstration was held on Thursday at Shersha Soori Road opposite cantonment area near Peshawar press club and castigated the US President’s decision for announcing Jerusalem as capital of Israel. A number of students of colleges and varsities attended the protest.
Holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans against US President and in favor of Palestine. Anwar Kamal Darmangi of PSF district Peshawar chapter headed the demonstrators, saying that the controversial decision worried the Muslim community and it is based on personal well.
Flanked by other members of PSF, he clearly said they were supporting Palestine and would extend their patronage in this regard. Regarding the Muslim countries, he stressed the needs for taking pragmatic steps to suspend all diplomatic relations and boycott their products till withdrawal of decision.
The decision has hurt the Muslim countries and it should be withdrawn by United States as it will cause uncertainty and riots in entire globe. Demonstrators also urged the Muslim countries to get united for the noble cause and stand against the United States like rock.
