PSL 3: Dean Jones wants better pitches to get the best out of players

ISLAMABAD: Former Australian cricket and Coach of Islamabad United has said that they are expecting better pitches in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) third edition and it will allow players to express themselves better in the competitions.

This he said while giving interview to private channel on Wednesday. Jones said that he satisfied with the squad that they picked in the PSL players draft and we got what we planned for the competitions in the upcoming edition.

Dean Jones appreciated the role of PSL as compared to the other leagues around the world and termed it good platform for the young players to show their talents on the right platform.

He added that he is proud that players of Islamabad United are representing Pakistan and especially the Shadab Khan he is the player which provided PSL to the Pakistan team and some other young players are also in the line to prove their talent on the right platform.

The former Australian player also mentioned how the league brought Shadab Khan to the limelight saying that he was proud to see Islamabad United players representing Pakistan.

The Islamabad United team for PSL is: Misbah ul Haq, Andre Russell, Samuel Badree, Mohammad Sami, Rumman Raees, Shadab Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Ammad Butt, Asif Ali, JP Duminy, Luke Ronchi, Fahim Ashraf, Sam Billings, Zafar Gohar, Sahibzada Farhan, Hussain Talat, Alex Hales, David Willey, Muhammad Hassan and Muhammad Husnain.
