PSL brings a trend of standee posters in Karachi

ISLAMABAD: Karachi city perfectly represented the excitement of cricket lovers for the Pakistan Super League(PSL) final matches by displaying standees (posters) on the sidewalks of the main roads in the city.

According to a report aired on a private news channel, Pakistan Super League (PSL)increased the business and brought trend of standee posters in Karachi .

Salman Aziz a youth representer said that poster designers took the full advantage of this opportunity by demanding high prices for carving standees.

Khursheed Ahmed a 58-old-poster designer said that business of common people flourished as he received orders of printing more posters of different national and international players, adding carving standees trend was completely a new idea in Pakistan.

Craving standees of players required more effort and skill as the buyers ordered us to carve a standee of their favorite players in different moves while playing the game, he added.

Hameed Agha a visitor said that he came to Karachi to support Quetta Gladiators and was happy to see new trend of standee posters and peace and excitement back in the city.

“We supported all teams of PSL as it was not a victory of any specific city but a victory of Pakistan that cricket was finally back in country, “he added.
