PSL: Gladiators crush Qalandars by nine wickets in one-sided match

DUBAI: Quetta Gladiators crushed Lahore Qalandars by nine wickets in their second match of the tournament on Saturday which was played at the Dubai International Stadium.

Muhammad Nawaz brilliant and record breaking performance in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and restricted the Lahore Qalandars to 119/9 in the limited 20 overs and Jofra Archer also played vital role in bringing victory for the Gladiators.

Nawaz took two wickets in four overs with one maiden while giving only four runs and Jofra Archer took three wickets in his four-over quota.

In reply, Asad Shafiq and Shane Watson openers of Gladiator, dominated the Qalandars bowlers and give 92 runs opening stand in 11.4 overs after Watson (66) was bowled by Sunil Narine.

Quetta Gladiator achieved the target of 120 for the loss of 1 wicket in the 14th overs of the innings.
