PSP to protest against prolonged hours electricity load shedding in Karachi

KARACHI: Mustafa Kamal led Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) is will protest against prolonged hours electricity load shedding in Karachi outside the office of K-Electric on Friday (today).

During the press conference, PSP senior leader Anees Qaimkhani also invited CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah to join them in the rally.

Earlier on Thursday, Murad Ali Shah had expressed support to any political party protest against power load shedding in Karachi and hinted to stage sit-in in Islamabad against federation for not resolving the energy crisis.

It is to be mentioned here that Karachi is facing load-shedding of more than 12 hours daily on the name of technical glitches.

Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, New Karachi, Federal B Area, Liaquatabad, Orangi Town, PHCHS, Nazimabad, Korangi, Landhi, Old City Area and Lines Areas of Karachi are most affected of the load shedding.

Industrial areas are also hit by 8 to 10-hour unscheduled load shedding.
