PTI Chief alleges FM Asif of disrespecting vote

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has alleged that Defense Minister Khawaja Asif disrespected the sanctity of vote by holding Iqama (work permit) of UAE.

According to private news channel, Imran Khan said that it is shameful that the federal minister is holding an Iqama and adding that the PML-N leadership of shouting slogans for sanctity of vote but in fact they are the real forces who bring shame for the voters.

He appreciated the efforts of PTI’s Usman Dar for presenting the evidences in the court regarding Khawaja Asif. Khan added that the case of Asif’s disqualification is not representing anyone’s identity as it’s a case of Pakistan’s future.

It is to be mentioned here that Islamabad High Court (IHC) will announce verdict on petition seeking disqualification of foreign minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif today (Thursday).

A three-member bench, headed by Justice Athar Minallah, had reserved verdict on Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Dar’s plea on April-10.
