F.P. Report
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) legal team member Faisal Chaudhry said on Thursday that Imran Khan had declined the offer to get shifted in Banigala.
Speaking to media outside Adiala jail, Chaudhry said, “The PTI founder has cleared the air that he will not talk about his own release unless all of the party workers get freed.”
Chaudhry said, “The PTI founder will have the permission to take part in active politics.”
He maintained, “All the cases registered against the PTI founder are bogus.”
Meanwhile, PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai warned on Thursday that failure to show flexibility on two key demands would lead to continued civil disobedience.
Expressing his thoughts, Yousafzai stated: “The government has until 30 January to negotiate with the party. The PTI finalised two demands to advance negotiations.”
“These included the release of innocent political workers and the formation of a judicial commission to investigate incidents on 9 May and 26 November,” he maintained.
