F.P. Report

KARACHI: Spokesperson of Sindh Government and Advisor for Law, Environment and Coastal Developments Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that misleading audio and video tapes have been played against Sindh government for which we have written a letter to FIA.

He said that local PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh also shared fake audio on his Twitter account without any confirmation which falls under the category of cyber crime.  Spokesperson of Sindh Government and Advisor for Law, Environment and Coastal Developments Barrister Murtaza Wahab said the audiotape contained allegations of soliciting bribes and extortion from industrialists and traders, which were later denied by the business leaders themselves.

He said that the purpose of spreading these audio tapes was to launch a fabricated propaganda campaign against the Sindh government, the reality of which has come to light and to stop us from serving the people and to shake the Sindh government. He further accused the industrialists of extortion in the fake audio tapes while the Sindh government did not spare any effort in serving the people of the province without any discrimination.

Spokesperson of Sindh Government and Advisor for Law, Environment and Coastal Developments Barrister Murtaza Wahab also said that the positive attitude of the Sindh government towards the welfare and service of the people had confused the opponents and they had fallen prey to some unknown fear.  The letter sent by the Sindh government called for action against those who spread such vile audio tapes and said that strict legal action should be taken against them and the contents of the letter emphasized this.

He said that in the context of protection against the global epidemic of corona virus, some elements wee inciting the business community not to implement the measures taken by the Sindh government.
