PTI is a place for people like Amir Liaquat: Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Amir Liaquat Hussain deserved each other as the PTI has been made for the people like controversial televangelist Amir Liaquat Hussain.

Nawaz Sharif said this while talking to media persons outside the accountability court on Tuesday. While answering to a question, Nawaz Sharif said that they are thankful to Amir Liaquat Hussain didn’t join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

He added that they are after my father business and adding that if they want to know the business then they should start digging from 1937 as on that time our business was start promoting and Allah blessing us.

He criticized the NAB for filing the supplementary reference against him and his family and adding that what they get from the previous references which they filed against me and family, they are only trying to get something from it against my family but they will not be succeeded in it.

Earlier, Nawaz Sharif along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r)Safdar appeared in accountability court for a hearing of references against him.

It is to be mentioned here that the court is due to record statement of Panama JIT head Wajid Zia.
