PTI plans asking PM Shehbaz to take vote of confidence

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan has nodded to PTI’s plan, according to which President Arif Alvi will soon ask Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to take vote of confidence from the National Assembly.

Sources in the party said the president will soon ask the prime minister to take trust vote.

The sources were of the view that the recent tiff between the MQM with the ruling coalition has encouraged the PTI to push for prime minister’s vote of confidence.

The sources further said that the PTI is sure that MQM will not support the prime minister in a trust vote.
