All convoys will reach Rawalpindi in the third week of November.
It is to be noted here that the PTI had suspended the long march after an attack on Imran Khan and other party leaders in Wazirabad.
New container
A new container has been arranged which has arrived in Wazirabad, to be part of the PTI long march being resumed today.
The old container has probably been sealed along with the venue in Wazirabad where Imran Khan was targeted by the gunman.
PTI ends sit-ins at Motorway, Murree Road
The PTI leaders and supporters have ended their protest sit-in at Motorway and Murree Road in Rawalpindi and the party’s long march was set to hit the road again from Wazirabad.
The M2 Motorway was reopened for the four-day protest by the PTI workers, who left the sit-in venue leaving behind their tents, lathis and chairs, which later created hurdles in the smooth flow of traffic.
Though the place was littred with garbage the citizens have expressed their joy on the reopening of the Motorway.
The protesters also blocked a wedding party from travelling on Motorway. But much argument, they allowed the groom’s car only to pass.
Participants of the Murree Road sit-in said their protest was against the non-registration of the FIR over Wazirabad firing incident. Now they are ending their protest and reopening the Murree Road.
An old citizen lost his control earlier when he was not allowed to pass through the sit-in. He had a heated argument with PTI leader Fayyazul Chohan.
