PTI all set to sweep upcoming polls

F.P Report

PESHAWAR: Provincial leader of Pakistan Terheek-e-Insaf Shaukat Ali on Tuesday claimed that his party would make clean sweep in forthcoming general elections in 2018 as the rest of political parties have no future in the country.

Speaking to public meeting in connection with joining ceremony, he explained that he himself was an activist of Pakistan People’s Party but later left the party when it neglected the vision and ideology of martyrs Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.

He said Imran Khan the PTI chief was the only leader in Pakistan, who is himself an honest leader for the country, who continued his endeavors to make the Pakistan free of corruption and irregularities. On the occasion, Iftikhar Ahmad, a known PPP worker along with his family and other workers from various union councils (UCs) announced joining the PTI and ensured all kind of hard work for upcoming elections 2018.

Welcoming the new comers into the party fold, he said, that was the reason people wanted to get rid of all other political parties, which were already given chances of government but they instead of serving the masses, looted the national exchequer.

Shaukat Ali, who was also a former Nazim of Town-1, and presently chairman Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) said, the PTI believed in serving the masses and pro-people legislations and developments are clear proof of the PTI-led provincial government, and will continue if came into power.

He said that the PTI spent on masses instead of embezzling the national exchequer. Tahir Zaman Shinwari, a founder member of PTI PK-3, Amjad Orakzai, a vice president PTI youth wing, Arif Mohmand member of district assembly also spoke on the occasion.
