PTI using KP resources to gain power in centre: ANP

PESHAWAR: Leader of Awami National Party (ANP) Aimal Wali Khan criticized the incumbent PTI-led provincial government for using resources of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in order to gain power in centre.

Addressing a seminar organized by the Pakistan Railways Employee (PREM) Union at Peshawar Press Club, Aimal Wali Khan said ANP was the only party in Pakistan who stood for the rights of poor.

On the occasion officeholders of PREM also announced support ANP. Syed Aqil Shah, Barrister Arshad Khan Abdullah, Abu Saeed Jafri, Jahangir Khan and large number of railway employees were present on the occasion.

Aimal Wali Khan said that PTI was raising slogans regarding billion tree tsunami but on the other hand the provincial government were cutting trees for the BRT project.

He also criticised the federal government over CPEC by saying that major projects under CPEC were given to Punjab.

Aimal Wali Khan said ANP wanted immediate merger of Fata into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Former provincial minister Barrister Arshad Khan Abdullah on the occasion said that the opposition was busy in spreading negative propaganda against ANP. He added that ANP was the only party who always fought for the rights of Pakhtuns.

Peshawar Division president of PREM, Jahangir Khan showed trust on the leadership of ANP and added that that ANP is the party of poor and always stand for the rights of poor which constrain us to join ANP.
