PESHAWAR: Leader of PPP and Ex-MNA Asma Arbab Alamgir Thursday said that PTI has been continuously violating the directives of the Election Commission and the Chief Minister of KP is patronizing pre-poll rigging.
Lamenting the sorry state of affairs in the province, she said that the so called agents of change has set examples of pre-poll rigging by approving development schemes amidst clear ban of the Election Commission on them since April 1, 2018 adding that the Chief Minister has been disbursing transformers among the blue eyed babies of PTI thereby ignoring the directives of the EC.
She expressed these views while addressing a public gathering at Pir Bala Peshawar in which ex-leader of PML (N) of PK-7 Moazam Bacha formally joined PPP.
Asma Arbab added that PTI wasted five years in agitations and protests and deprived people of the province of development. “The changes in the province are cosmetic and limited only to papers and facebook” she remarked.
She alleged that PTI has violated section (3),(4),(5) and Section (8) of the Article 218 of the constitution and has refuted all of their tall claims of merit and rule of law. She warned PTI to stop pre-poll riggings or else Jiyaley of PPP would come to the streets.
