KARACHI: The judicial magistrate Karachi West on Saturday indicted Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf member of Sindh Assembly in a case of property trespassing, torturing of the house owner and harassment of women.
The judicial magistrate west court heard a case of property trespassing by PTI MPA Malik Shehzad Awan and others.
Mr Awan along with his companions barged into the house of a citizen to whom they allegedly subjected to torture, besides disgracing and harassing women present in the house.
The Sindh Assembly member and others appeared before the magistrate’s court which indicted them.
However, Mr Awan and three other accused pleaded not-guilty.
The two nominated accused are included: Muhammad Imran and Qaiser.
The court issued notices to the witnesses of prosecution and investigation officer summoning them on the next hearing.
