Punjab holds first Air Ambulance training session

LAHORE: The training session for Punjab’s first Air Ambulance Service has commenced, marking a milestone in the province’s healthcare infrastructure, officials said Saturday.

Conducted in preparation for the imminent launch of the Air Ambulance service scheduled for June, the training session saw the organization of practice flights aimed at accessing major hospitals across Punjab swiftly and efficiently. This innovative service is expected to revolutionize medical response in the region by providing rapid transportation to major hospitals across Punjab.

During the recent training, pilots and medical teams collaborated to simulate emergency patient transport scenarios, ensuring readiness for any situation.

Participants engaged in drills to effectively handle medical emergencies and transport patients to hospitals with utmost urgency and care. This initiative promises to enhance the speed and efficiency of emergency medical services, potentially saving countless lives by providing critical care in the golden hour.
