Quality education to bring change in nation: VC

KARAK: Vice Chancellor Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak (KKKUK), Professor Dr Jehan Bakht has said that maintaining quality in education was the only way to bring change in the destiny of the nation and underlined the need of adopting the guidelines of the Higher Education Commission regarding the quality in education.

He was addressing to a daylong seminar held here on Thursday in the Video Conference room organized by the directorate of quality assurance of the University on the title of “Pre-Visit Preparation for Institutional Performance Evaluation in the form of University Portfolio Report” as a chief guest and resolved that all facilities would be provided to the students and faculty of the University to focus on imparting quality education to the students.

Mr Bakht further said that all decisions would be taken in transparent way on merit basis and added that the institutions take time in its growth, therefore, this University was passing through its evolution process to become a great learning seat in near future.

He resolved to take all the stakeholders along and stressed on the employees of the University to utilize all their potentialities for the development of the University. On the occasion the resource person and director quality assurance Muhammad Shahi Deen Khattak said categorically that sky is the limit for quality and claimed that it was a continuous struggle in the life of educational institutions.

He said that there was scarcity of resources but there was plenty of wants, therefore, they have to set their priorities to get the quality in all sections of the University through proper planning.

He stressed on all stakeholders to launch preparation of the University Portfolio Report according to the HEC’s guideline and stressed on the participants to work like a team to get the destination of quality in real sense as the preparation of UPR was not the work of only section of the University.
