Quran provides complete code of life to mankind: Fazl

D I KHAN: The chief of Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) and Chairman Kashmir Committee, Maulana Fazlur Rehman while underlining the need for following the teaching of the holy Quran to get success in life and life hereafter has said Quran provides us a complete code of life for eradicating social evils from the society. “Reason behind the current predicaments, sectarianism, differences and difficulties of Musil Ummah were in fact detachment from Quran and its teachings”, he said.

Addressing a big gathering held in connection with ‘Husn e Qirat’ program at Haqnawaz Park here, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said Ulema have played a much vital role in spreading the message of Quran regarding peace, brotherhood and harmony. Nowadays when our society’s environment has become polluted with disrespect, vulgarity and indecency, the sounds of reciting of Quran “Qirrat” was spreading fragrance in the atmosphere.

The Muslim Ummah, he said has made a great mistake by leaving behind the teachings of the holy book, Quran that has disintegrated them and created differences among the Muslim society. He said in fact Quran was the main sources to take a nation to the heights of mankind and on the other hand if we being Muslims ignored this fact it can also take us to the deepness of ignorance and retreat.

Maulana said Quran was also the prime source of receiving cure for any ailment and removes stains from ones personality and heart. By bringing it close to our hearts, Quran provides brightness to our belief and if we neglect this face, it will leave a dark gloom on our overall manifestation. Maulana Fazlur Rehman added that our forefathers created this country in the name of Islam where law of the land would be according to the teachings of Quran and prayed that May Allah Almighty help us in implementing the true decree of Islam and Quran in our country.
