Saif Ullah

GHALANAI: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP), Provincial Chairman Sikandar Sherpao vowed to strive hard for the rights of Pakhtuns so as to ensure their progress and development. He said this during a visit to Mohmand Agency while speaking to locals and party bearers, wherein QWP provincial general secretary Hashim Babar, Malik Nusrat, Malik Haneef and Amjad Mohmand were also present on this occasion.

He contended that QWP had taken up the cudgels of the masses while the people of Mohmand Agency had rendered matchless sacrifices both human and material in the war against terrorism” he continued.

He said that the people the area are facing multiple problems and their party will change the fate of the people of area through the revolutionary and pragmatic steps aimed to bring prosperity and uplift for them.

Sherpao said that good relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan have vital significance for the regional security and fight against terrorism. He said that mutual dialogues were the only solution to end terrorism and extremism. He said that both countries should touch upon cooperation and firm resolve to eradicate the unrest on both sides of the border.

“Both Islamabad and Kabul should promote security and stability through fruitful dialogues” he said. He also condemned the recent major incidents of terrorism in Afghanistan and urged both the countries to extend collective strategies for eradication of terrorism and extremism. He said that it is the need of the hour that both the neighboring countries should join hands to take uniformed stand against terrorism in order to restore sustainable, peace and strengthened economies of the two countries.
