ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani on Tuesday asked the Minister for Law & Justice Zahid Hamid to convey Foreign Minister about his presence in the House on October 25 and take the Parliament into confidence about visit of US Secretary State.
As per media reports, he said that US Secretary of State gave a statement in Kabul which reflects for placing some possible conditions for Pakistan in future.
He was of the views that the tone adopted by the US Secretary seemed not right. He said the response given by the Senate on August 30, 2017 through a report should be conveyed to the US Secretary.
He said the House should be informed about the conditions placed by the US Secretary of State before visiting Pakistan.
Earlier, the Chair also referred a privilege motion of PTI Senator Azam Khan Swat to the Privilege Committee which was regarding about his grievances over the attitude of a PWD official.
