Rajput community protest against release of ‘Padmavati’

MUMBAI: Hundred members of Rajput community protested in Indian state of Gujrat against the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Padmavati.

The protestors claimed that Bhansali in the movie has distorted facts and demanded to stop the release of movie as it depicting the historical Rani Pamavati in a wrong way.

Rajput Karni Sena, an Indian caste organization had issues with the wrong depiction of Rani Padmavati played by Deepika in the movie which is expected to be released on December 1.
