Rallies held in KP to show solidarity with Kashmiris

TIMERGARA: Members of society held walk here on Tuesday to show solidarity with people of Kashmir, urging international community to take serious notice of Kashmiri genocide in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Participants were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans like stop genocide of Kashmiri people through cluster bombs. They said that Indian forces and its government was brazenly committing human rights violations in the valley but the International community was surprisingly had kept mum over the issue.

The walk was started from Deputy Commissioner, Office and culminated at BalambatChowk. Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, District Nazim, Haji Muhammad Rasool Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ashfaq Ahmad, Assistant Commissioners, Elected representatives, traders, students, and lawyers participated in the Kashmir Solidarity Walk.

Deputy Commissioner Dir Lower stated on the occasion said, “today we are showing solidarity with Kashmiri people to give a loud and clear message to the world that the hearts of Pakistanis and Kashmiris throb in unison.” The Deputy Commissioner further stated that Pakistan would continue its political, moral and diplomatic support for their birth right to self-determination. He said using of cluster bombs and pellets Gun in Kashmir was the blatant violation of UNO resolutions, he observed, adding the civilized nations must come forward and take serious notice of the Kashmiri genocide and human right violation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

District NazimDir Lower Haji Muhammad Rasool Khan stated that Pakistan supports Kashmiris in their movement for the right of self-determination, and this is the cause that people in Indian Occupied Kashmir are hoisting Pakistani flags in rallies and funeral prayers of Kashmiri martyrs.

Addressing to the gathering Additional Deputy Commissioner Ashfaq Ahmad stated that India has crossed all records of atrocities and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. He further said the despite India’s unprecedented brutalities, the Kashmiri youth are taking forward their freedom movement and Pakistan will support their genuine birth right of liberty at every forum.

ShahzadaWazir adds from Wana: A big rally was taken out by elders, ulemas, students and other common tribesmen in Wana to express solidarity with Kashmiri brethren at this critical time. Rally participants were carrying Pakistani national flags and banners; and banners were inscribed with slogans- Kashmir is the part of Pakistan and international community stressed India to give self-determination right to the people of occupied Kashmir.

Rally passed through various markets in Wana bazaar raising full-throat slogans against India. At last, rally concluded in a gathering at the mid of Wana bazaar. Speakers said that India atrocities in the held Kashmir are not acceptable. Tribesmen have no rifts among their ranks when foreign invaders intend to attack their mother land, they added.

They warned Modi government not to commit blunder of attacking Pakistan, all tribesmen will fight shoulder to shoulder their army till the complete freedom of occupied Kashmir from the evil clutches of Indian forces. They said while reminding the bravery of their forefathers that India might have not forgotten the resilience of them during the war of 1948.

Scout association held rally: On the directives of District Scout Commissioner Nazir Ahmad Khan, the education department with support of boy scouts association arranged a walk in LakkiMarwat city on Tuesday to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

Led by Principal Sifatullah Khan, ADEO sports Nisar Muhammad and SDEOs Abdul Rehman Rashid and Qadir Shah the walk started from Government Shaheed Muhammad Ghassan Khan Centennial Model High School and culminated at QaziIshfaqchowk on main bus stand. Principals, headmasters, teachers, students, boy scouts, local bodies’ members and people from different walks of life were in attendance.

Participants carried banners highlighting atrocities of Indian occupied forces on innocent Kashmiris. Earlier, speakers at a function condemned state sponsored terrorism in Indian held Kashmir and expressed grief over martyrdom of innocent Kashmiris. They asked international community to take notice of Indian atrocities and support people of Kashmir in their struggle for the right of self-determination. They said the world community should also take notice of using cluster bombs on civilian population along Line of Control by India.

Speakers reiterated that the government and people of Pakistan would continue moral and diplomatic support to their Kashmiri brethren.
