SHARANA CITY (Agencies): As many as 15 armed oppositions were killed and six more were wounded during clashes with Afghan security forces in eastern Paktika province of Afghanistan.
Nesar Ahmad Abdul Rahimzai police chief of Paktika told BNA correspondent, the militants were killed, while they wanted to carry out attack on Afghan security forces’ patrol in Saroubi district of the province.
15 anti-government militias were killed and six others were wounded during the conflicts, Abdul Rahimzai added.
According to another report, six terrorists were killed during a military operations conducted by Afghan security forces in relevant areas of Yahiakhail district and Sharana city the provincial capital of the province.
Meanwhile, ten people have been arrested on criminal offenses.
The men were detained overnight during search of vehicles and special operations in Lashkargah and a number of districts.
