Humayun Khan
PESHAWAR: A divisional bench of Peshawar High Court (PHC) comprising of Justice Abdul Shakoor and Justice Fazal Subhan directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission and Secretary Higher Education Department to submit reply in case regarding appointment of lecturer holding dual domicile, on Thursday.
The counsel Danyal Chamkani Advocate informed that petitioner Safia Khan has topped the zone in test arranged by KPPSC for seven posts on BPS-17 as lecturers.
The counsel argued that KPSC recommended Huma Riaz Khan as lecturer while holding dual domicile and served as Secondary School Teacher at Abbottabad.
The counsel Danyal Chamkani Advocate further argued that recommended lecturer did not cancelled any domicile while petitioner has right for appointment because she topped her zone in the test. After initial arguments divisional bench has directed KPPSC and Secretary Higher Education Department to submit comments and adjourned further hearing.
