Regional Food Festival Begins at Pearl Continental Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Living up to its tradition of arranging family events for the people of Peshawar, Pearl Continental Peshawar has arranged a Regional Food Festival in its Green Lawn. The Lawn is decorated as per the theme, All the Five Provinces of Pakistan are represented in this Food Festival and Food and Culture depicting the true colors of Pakistan are being created in the Green Lawn. Live Music of our provinces alongside fun activities for children is thoroughly enjoyed by the people. Doctor Lubna a resident of Peshawar appreciated the efforts of PC Peshawar in arranging such a colorful event and liked the tasty food of all the provinces, she said, In the present scenario arranging such programmes are a breath of fresh air for us the people of Peshawar and PC Peshawar and its General Manager Mr. Rashid Rauf Banday should be appreciated for arranging such a nice evening for us.
Another feature of the Festival was the performance by Traditional Chitrali Dancers who performed to the tunes of Chitrali folk music. Various Cultural Stalls were also a major attraction and people thoroughly enjoyed the true culture of this region. Pearl Continental Peshawar is playing its due part in reviving the Art, Culture and Music of KPK by arranging these kinds of events and is a part of the Emerging Pakistan Project.
The Four Day Festival was inaugurated by honorable Syed Ibrahim Dehnadi Second Consul Islamic Republic of Iran alongside Mr. Rashid Rauf Banday General Manager Pearl Continental Peshawar. Syed Ibrahim Dehnadi appreciated the efforts of Pearl continental Peshawar for arranging such a fine event for the people of Peshawar and said that these kinds of events will help in promoting harmony among the various provinces of Pakistan. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Rashid Rauf Banday thanked the people of Peshawar for showing great interest in the Festival and said that PC Peshawar will keep on arranging these kinds of Family events for Peshawrities so that they can enjoy with their families in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Mr. Rashid Banday further said that bringing out the softer image of Peshawar in particular and the province, in general, is the purpose of arranging such events, and PC Peshawar will keep on organizing healthy activities for the community. The Regional Food Festival will conclude on 26th November 2017.
