Rehmat Shah Afridi passes away

PESHAWAR: The founder of The Frontier Post and senior journalist, Rehmat Shah Afridi passed away on Saturday. He was 74, according to his son Bilal Afridi.

His funeral prayer will be offer today (Sunday) in Bagh-e-Naran, Hayatabad at 11:00 A.M.

He is survived by four sons. Mahmood Ullah Afridi, Jalil Afridi, Bilal Afridi and Ahmad Shah Afridi.

It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to a true pioneer of English journalism in the frontier part of Pakistan, Rehmat Shah Afridi, who departed from our midst just moments ago.
