Report on KP govt’s four months performance issued

PESHAWAR: Performance Management & Reforms Unit, Government of Khyber Pakhtonkhwa has issued four months Government’s Performance Report in light of actions taken on the directives of Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr Muhammad Azam Khan .

According to the report, in the province 7063 canals land worth more than 14 billions has been evacuated while unlawful encroachments from 2 lakh 17 thousand canals land has been removed.

Likewise 6100 Civil cases have been decided, 134 Departmental cases have been decided though reconciliation. 274 Khuli Kacheries have been held by Deputy Commissioners throughout the province. In these Khuli Kacheries, people brought forth 2559 complaints, out of which 1399 were solved while 772 complaints were sent to the concerned departments for effective action.

The members of Citizen Portal have been increased from 95 thousand to 2 lakh. On the portal, 16 thousands complaints have been received from people, where in 12 thousand complaints have been resolved while the remaining four thousand complaints have been sent to the concerned departments for necessary action.

According to the report, historic steps have been taken to make the process of getting facilities easier that otherwise needed a lot of time like the issuance of Domicile at the door steps, registration of vehicle in one day, online admission in colleges, access to digital library in homes, immediate payment of compensation to the heirs in case of deaths in natural calamities, to solve the ownership cases of land in less time, speedy recruitments through Public Service Commission, to extend the services of Rescue 1122 to other districts, Online registration system of hotels and restaurants, computerization of pharmacy licenses, the introduction of App’s for knowing the roads and smooth plying of traffic.

According to report, 1035 illegal crush plants have been sealed throughout the province while 447 plants were issued licenses after fulfilling the legal formalities.

The cleanliness and chlorination of 7000 clean Water tanks was made possible while 708 illegal bill boards were removed from different places.
