Rescue 1122, Khyber finalizes emergency action plan

LANDI KOTAL: On the eve of general election an emergency action plan has been formulated by the Rescue 1122, Khyber here on the last day.

An extra-ordinary meeting of the officials, chaired by district emergency officer Syed Shoab Mansoor was held in Rescue 122 district headquarters, Jamrud that was attended by emergency officer Engineer Baryal Mukhtar, control room station house officer besides other workers.

Vacations of all officials were cancelled and their presences on duties were ensured on 08 February 2024.

 Keeping in view the sensitive status of scores of polling stations in Khyber, volunteers of Rescue 1122 would be on high alert to respond in any untoward incident; Mr Mansoor added and said the officials had been directed for provision of all necessary facilities including equipment and medicines in operational vehicles.

The masses could avail relief facilities in case of emergency round the clock, he added.

The district emergency officer urged the tribesmen to avoid unnecessary emergency calls and cooperate with Rescue 1122 workers and vehicles to reach on spot on time.
