Resignation of CEO BRT proof of corruption: Babak

PESHAWAR: Parliamentary leader of Awami National Party Sardar Hussain Babak has said that removal of Chief Executive Officers of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) was a clear proof of corruption by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In a statement issued here Sunday, Sardar Hussain Babak said that the provincial government was failed to deliver mosses in the province.

He said that the provincial government was involved in massive corruption therefore it compelled the CEO of BRT on resignation. He alleged that billion of rupees of corruption were made in BRT.

Babak asked National Accountability Bureau to initiate an inquiry in allegations leveled by the removed officials of BRT. He said that removal of the most senior officer followed by resignations of several others was a clear proof that CM Pervez Khattak has misused his authority.

Babak alleged that massive embezzlement has been done in the project and NAB should conduct inquiry to recover the looted money.
