Restoration work on Amu Darya starts in Kunduz

KABUL (Agencies): The restoration work on the Amu Darya (River) to recover the damages started on Monday.
The Minister of Energy and Water said at the opening ceremony of this project, that within the framework of this project, two parts of the river will be maintained, the first of which will be the reconstruction of the areas that are in danger.
The head of the Amu Darya, Engineer Rafiullah Mujtabi said that the reconstruction of the project previously started in Balkh, Jawzjan, and Takhar, and today it was officially started in Kunduz
Meanwhile, the residents of the Imam Sahib district expressed their happiness about the start of this project.
It must be said that by conducting this project, thousands of acres of land and their houses will be saved from the dangers of flooding and destruction.
