Rich tribute paid to Quaid-i-Azam

HAFIZABAD: Speakers at a seminar held in the Government Post graduate College for boys here today paid glowing tributes to the Father of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and they called upon all segment of society to derive guidance from his life to make the country strong and progressive.

As a matter of fact, his life is beacon light for the nation and all of us should strictly adhere to his golden motto (unity, faith and discipline) for their success. They also urged their audience to shun favoritism, nepotism and corruption which is prevalent in the society in the society. They particularly advised the teachers and students to inculcate in them moral values and character building to weed out all the malaise prevalent among us. Prominent among those who addressed the seminar included Deputy Commissioner Saleha Saeed, ADC (Revenue) Allah Ditta Warraich, Chief Executive Officer (Education) Iftikhar Nawaz Virk, Deputy Director Colleges Atif Imdad Tarar, MPA Asadullah Arain, Vice Chairman District Council Rai Qamar-ul-Zaman Kharl and Professor Muhammad Ayub Khan Tahir. Later, the students presented tableau and sang the national songs which amused the participants.
