Rich tributes paid to late Nisar Khan
SWABI: Speakers in a programme said that despite the passing away of Nisar Mohammad Khan would remain the ‘shining star’ of the Pashto language due to his immense and valuable contribution at different distinguished positions because he was having a mind of great capacity.
They were speaking on Monday in a Rabita programme of Ghandhara Union of Journalists (GUJ) on “Nisar Mohammad Khan and his Valuable Services, Contribution to Pashto Language, Music and Film”.
They paid glowing tributes to Mr Nisar for his matchless services to the Pashto language, culture, music, drama and film, saying that he was in fact owner of diverse character but everywhere stick with his work, productive idea, approach and focused to deliver according to the requirements of the environment, never losing temper and searched for managing to achieve positive result.
Nisar, a prominent producer, actor and writer had passed away four days back after protracted illness. He was 76. He was an outstanding playwright, actor, renowned writer, researcher and a determined worker. The main thrust of the speakers was the contribution he made to the Pashto dramas, films and music and actually his role was quite visible in all these fields and even in the later stage when he was associated with a private Pashto television as compare. The speakers said that the contribution he had made to Pashto was highly praiseworthy because he had worked in an extremely difficult period when all the activities were carried out with ordinary available resources and manpower.
“Nisar amazing contribution to the Pakhtuns and their language would keep him alive. I proud over that, True, he is no longer among us but his deeds had inserted his personality and character in our minds and hearts,” said Muhammad Jamil advocate, a known columnist. Dr Mohammad Jasim, patron-in-chief of literary body, Qam Qalam said that district Swabi soil had produced many prominent Pashto figures and Mr Nisar was quite famous and prominent among them.
“He had used his association with Radio Pakistan as a ladder, crossing many obstacles and hurdles and finally reaching to the climax of continued struggle. This all became possible due to his devotion, hardworking, determination and complete concentration,” he said. Nural Amin Yousafzai, who wrote several books, said that his presentation, whether was among his friends, in a gathering he was highly attractive and splendid. “He was an imposing personality due to his knowledge, skill.
Politeness and the way he was talking.” He said. When our elders and educators hardly knew about the research he had worked hard, meeting with the sprung up challenges and emerged victorious from them, he said.
