LONDON: A British boarding school Cottesmore has appointed two AI chatbots – one as its new principal and second one will lead the institute as head of artificial intelligence.
The principal teacher, named Abigail Bailey, will help perform the school affairs. This chatbot is equipped to translate different languages, create productive material and reply to the queries in an informational way. It will also help students and the teachers as well in providing them the schools policies material.
Bailey, the new AI chatbot headteacher of Cottesmore, uses deep learning and generative AI like the OpenAI’s chatbot ChatGPT.
The Cottesmore’s current headmaster, Tom Rogerson, told media that presence of AI chatbot in the school does not mean that you would not consult any human being.
Media reported that the school administration had also appointed the artificial intelligence head, Jamie Trainer, who is also AI-powered chatbot.
The boarding school is imparting education to boarders and day scholars aged between four and 13 years and charging 32,000 pounds fee from the local students.
