Roof collapse kills three in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: Three members of a family were killed and three others were wounded when the roof of their house caved-in due to heavy rain in Behram Deri, an area of district Charsadda, on Thursday.

The roof of the house collapsed due to heavy rain in the area, the deceased were including husband, wife and their daughter, while three of their kids also injured in the incident.

The rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured and bodies to the hospital.

Yesterday, at least three people were killed while five others sustained wounds when the roof of a house collapsed in Okara in wee hours of Wednesday.

According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) at least 49 people have been killed and 176 others injured in rain related incidents across the country during current spell of heavy downpour.
