OKARA: As many as three people were killed and five others were injured in wee hours of Wednesday when the roof of a house collapsed in Okara.
Rescue official told local news channel that the incident occurred in Haveli Lakha neighbourhood of Depalpur tehsil and the roof of the house caved in because of heavy rainfall.
Rescue official added that those killed in the roof collapse were minor girls. He said the incident occurred at a time when a wedding party was ongoing.
The deceased and injured were shifted to a nearby medical facility.
