Rs 39m to be spent on street lights and general bus stand

TIMERGARA: Tehsil nazim Timergara Riaz Muhammad has said that Rs 7 million was being spent on street lights and Rs 32 million on renovation and provision of facilities at Timergara general bus stand. Talking to local journalists after visiting different parts of Timergara city and general bus stand here on Tuesday the nazim said that beautification of the city was his top priority. The Timergara TMO Pervez Akhtar and president Anjuman Tajaran Haji Anwar ud Din also accompanied him.

The nazim said that Rs 7 million had been set aside for street lights in the city work on which would be started this month. He said that work order for street lights had been issued.

He said that Rs 32 million would be spent on black topping of Timergara general bus stand and provision of basic facilities to passengers. Also in the day Malik Marifullah was elected as president while Muzamil Shah as general secretary of Anjuman Tajarn Nasafa Talash. The annual election was held at Nasafa which was attended by all shop keepers. Mr Marifullah was elected as president, Bacha Wahid as vice president, Muzamil Shah general secretary, Gul Muhammad finance secretary and Shah Faisal as joint secretary.
