TIMERGARA: The Lower Dir district council on Wednesday granted approval of Rs 278.6 million for completion of various development projects in the district.
The approval was given during the council’s session held here with its convener Abdul Rasheed in the chair. District nazim Muhammad Rasool Khan sought approval of funds for the ongoing schemes in the district.
The house approved Rs 278.6 million for the purpose.
Council’s members Malik Muhammad Zeb, Shad Nawaz Khan, Abdullah Shah, advocate Alam Zeb, Fazal Qadir and others while speaking on the occasion condemned the officers of soil conservation for their misbehavior with district councilor Qaisar Ali Khan. The council members also walked out of the hall demanding action against the officers involved in mistreating the councilor.
