Rule of law

PML-Q Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi are unhappy with the leadership of ruling party because reopening of closed inquiries by the National Accountability Bureau. The inquiries, which were shelved, then as measure of political expediency had been initiated against them under National Accountability Ordinance 1999 on the allegations misuse of authority, assets beyond means and willful default of massive bank loans.

The Western democracies evolved, grew and established people’s welfare economic systems due to the selfless efforts and integrity of their leaders for themselves strictly observing the fundamentals i.e. rule of law, transparency in addition to equity and justice for all.

On the contrary, political elite in Pakistan despise the fundamentals of true democracy and never hesitate to condemn inquiries under relevant laws as political engineering.
