Russian engineers travel to Kabul to inspect Macrorayans’ Tech Systems

KABUL (Khaama Press): According to the state-run Macrorayans Repairing and Maintenance Enterprise, a group of Russian engineers has arrived in Kabul to inspect and examine Macrorayans’ technical systems, and a survey will be conducted soon to restore the technical systems, including central heating. According to the company, the survey’s findings will be presented to the General Directorate of State Companies and Enterprises and the Ministry of Finance.
The survey would be carried out in coordination with Russian engineers, according to Ghulam Omar Abdullah, the enterprise’s director, and servicing and reconstruction work would begin according to the operational plan. The company’s board of directors met with a Russian technical delegation , and provided information for a survey of Macrorayans technical equipment and central heating systems, according to the statement.
During the meeting the Director of Olimp Energetika, stated that they will work with local Afghan engineers to reconstruct the Macrorayan parts that had been damaged. They are looking for ways to revive Macrorayans facilities, central heating, and all technical systems, according to him, and wish to provide services to Macrorayans residents. The former Soviet-style public housing complexes and several other buildings, according to the statement, were built around forty years ago, but the systems have since lost their quality and become inactive. The statement also referenced the water project, which will cost around 35 million Afghanis to complete.
