KYIV (Reuters): Three people were killed and 11 hurt in a Russian missile strike that destroyed a private clinic in the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia on Tuesday, the regional governor said.
Rescuers were searching for people trapped under the rubble, he said on the Telegram messenger. One person was in a severe condition, and two medics were among the injured, he said.
Images from the site which were shared by the governor showed people being helped out of the badly damaged building and rescuers working in piles of rubble.
Russian troops regularly carry out strikes on Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region. On Friday, an attack on the city killed 10 people and wounded more than 20.
